High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Zach Collins (vs GS – $3,200): Needs 14.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21 fantasy points against Golden State. Collins had the game I predicted for him in Game 2, just one game late. The Blazers frontcourt is searching for answers and Collins isn’t exactly going to provide them with the correct answers, but he’s going to get minutes and a chance to do something. He’s not a bad low-cost captain pick. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Meyers Leonard (vs GS – $5,400): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.25 fantasy points against Golden State. Leonard drew the start and you know he’s going to get the minutes for the Blazers frontcourt. He’s another guy who makes for a good low-cost captain pick if you want to grab the top of the list with the Warriors. And you should definitely want to do that. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Moe Harkless (vs GS – $6,000): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.75 fantasy points against Golden State. Harkless was better in Game 3 but the Blazers still need more out of him. Of course, it’s probably not going to happen in Game 4. Other options in this spot might be Evan Turner (definitely not Evan Turner) and Jordan Bell (a much better option than Turner). Harkless will get minutes and do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
