High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Nikola Mirotic (at TOR – $4,600): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.25 fantasy points against Toronto. Mirotic continues to be a consistent option for the Bucks. He hasn’t flashed a high ceiling as of yet, but it still looms if he can get it going from the field. Even if he can’t, he’s doing enough to where he’ll get you what you need and at a good price. He’s a solid low-cost captain pick if you’re looking to spend less and get reliable production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Marc Gasol (vs MIL – $7,000): Needs 31.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.5 fantasy points against Toronto. Okay, maybe Gasol can play in this series. He was a beast in Game 3 and that’s encouraging. But was he a beast because he finally hit some 3’s and can he do it again? That’s the real question. He’s been consistent throughout the playoffs so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. But if you want to save money, Brook Lopez is a strong option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Norman Powell (vs MIL – $3,400): Needs 15.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31 fantasy points against Milwaukee. This is Norman Powell’s world now, we’re just living in it. He’s been good in the last two games and is a great salary for the production that he’s giving you right now. Can he keep it going? It’s Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
