High Value Guards

Players costing under $12,000

Malcolm Brogdon (at TOR – $11,000): Needs 43.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Toronto. I continue to love Brogdon because I’ve loved Brogdon all season and he’s rarely let me down. He just gets it done and even though his salary is climbing, I just have no doubts about Brogdon. He’s a good PRO pick and I wouldn’t even mind him as a STAR pick for Game 4. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

George Hill (at TOR – $10,500): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.4 fantasy points against Toronto. Hill continues to give the Bucks some great minutes and played his best game of the postseason in Game 3. The Bucks will continue to put many of their eggs in the Hill basket because he keeps getting it done for them. Until he shows an actual drop off, he will continue to be a strong option and a sneaky good PRO pick. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Danny Green (vs MIL – $8,000): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.7 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Green was slightly better in Game 3, so at least there’s that. He continues to get the minutes and opportunities, which is a good sign. He’s just not doing much more than that. He’s a fine UTIL pick and maybe this is the game where he is able to get things going. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
