WNBA Season Preview 2019: Every team’s best case scenario

Dallas Wings: The three players who GM Greg Bibb acquired in the last week are all future rotation players
All of the important parts of the Wings’ offseason happened in the last week: the team traded disgruntled All-Star Liz Cambage to Las Vegas, receiving Moriah Jefferson and Isabelle Harrison in return. Bibb followed that up with the acquisition of center Imani McGee-Stafford from Atlanta, for the low price of a 2020 third-round pick. All three of the new Wings have, to this point, shared the same career arc: they are young players whose high potential has been hidden by injuries and/or roster logjams. With Cambage gone and Skylar Diggins-Smith expected to miss at least the start of the season due to childbirth, the Wings’ 2019 rotation is a wide-open audition for future minutes.
