High Value Guards

Players costing under $12,000

Malcolm Brogdon (at TOR – $11,000): Needs 43.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.5 fantasy points against Torono. Brogdon may have been down in Game 4 but I’m not worried about him. Not with the series shifting back to Milwaukee. He’ll bounce back with a strong effort. He’s been a reliable option all season and one bad game shouldn’t scare you off. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

George Hill (at TOR – $10,500): Needs 42.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.5 fantasy points against Toronto. Hill was solid in Game 4 and he’ll keep being his usual steady self going into this game. With the series back in Milwaukee, Hill has shown that he can step up in a big way. You don’t have to worry about him in this game and offers more value than a guy like Bledsoe. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Fred VanVleet (vs MIL – $6,500): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.2 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Alright, the bloom is off the Danny Green rose. Not that the bloom was ever on the Danny Green rose given how he’s played in this series. VanVleet stepped up in a big way in Game 4. Can he do it again in Game 5 in Milwaukee? He’s a risk but he’s worth more than Green. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
