High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $12,000

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at TOR – $18,000): Needs 72.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.5 fantasy points against Toronto. As always, you know what you’re getting with Giannis. And with Drake not there to heckle, he should be a little less distracted. And he should really learn to not get distracted by Drake, who doesn’t even write his own material. Anyway back to Giannis. He’ll be fine. You never have to worry about him, especially in a Game 5 with the Bucks needing a win to apply pressure to Toronto. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kawhi Leonard (vs MIL – $16,000): Needs 64.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.9 fantasy points against Milwaukee. I said there were red flags around Kawhi coming in Game 4 and I wasn’t totally wrong. The good news is the rest of his teammates stepped up. I still have the same injury concern with Kawhi but you can still rarely go wrong with Kawhi. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs MIL – $13,000): Needs 53.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.8 fantasy points against Milwaukee. After a strong Game 3, Siam was back down in Game 4. He’s been a mixed bag in this series but he’ll get minutes the majority of the time and we know what he’s capable of overall. I’m not too worried about him in this game but this is a heavy price on a guy who could bottom out. He’s a decent PRO pick. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
