WWE NXT UK Recap for May 22, 2019: New WALTER Order

Next week’s main event

From one title match main event to another, next week’s NXT UK will be headlined by Nina Samuels challenging Toni Storm for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Staring deep into the evil backstage mirror, Samuels went on about how she’s manipulating Storm like a puppet. All it took was bringing families into things, and Storm just gave her a title shot. She didn’t even have to ask!

Sitting in front of congratulations cards from her “many” fans — we put the amount at somewhere between four and six, but who’s counting — Samuels portrayed herself as the auteur, the expert director in control of her vision. We’ve never, however, seen a Toni Storm as angry and caustic as she was in her promo on Samuels last week. Is Samuels even ready for that kind of Toni Storm? Will Storm be the problematic actor who gets the Nina Samuels Show cancelled before it can even make it out of pilot season?
