High Value Guards

Players costing under $8,333

Eric Bledsoe (at TOR – $6,200): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against Toronto. Bledsoe is turning into a fine option given his salary. The floor can still be low but the ceiling remains good. I still wouldn’t trust him just out of my own personal taste but overall he’s a good DFS option just because of his minutes and talent. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

George Hill (at TOR – $4,000): Needs 17 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.5 fantasy points against Toronto. You still know what you’re getting out of Hill. He’s a reliable option who will continue to produce because he’s proven that he can produce. I still love him if you’re not wanting to spend big on the captain position. And in this game, the Bucks will need him now more than ever. He’ll step up for his usual outing and then some. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Fred VanVleet (vs MIL – $4,800): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. VanVleet has been great in the last two games and I guess having kids helps your basketball game. Danny Green is no longer an option with his play while VanVleet is getting more minutes now and really stepping up. I find Hill to be slightly more reliable but VanVleet has the higher ceiling with his shooting. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
