45. . DB. . Bryce Callahan. 4. team

During his time as the head coach for Denver, Vance Joseph struggled mightily, winning only 11 games during his two-year stint at the helm. This offseason, the Broncos decided it was time to part with Joseph, replacing him with Vic Fangio, who was fresh off leading the Chicago Bears to an NFC North title as their defensive coordinator.

Also coming over from Chicago this offseason is Bryce Callahan, a solid cornerback for the Bears over the last four seasons. In fact, Pro Football Focus rated Callahan as the No. 7 overall cornerback among those who qualified last season, giving him an 81.4 overall grade in the Bears defensive backfield.

Callahan has signed with the Broncos for three years, and the expectation was that he would be playing on the outside, replacing the departed Bradley Roby. However, he has been playing more in the slot during OTAs, and that could force Chris Harris to the outside, as Callahan has looked good in the role early on.

This is a Broncos secondary that will have a brand new look in 2019, as the team also brought in former Houston Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson, who has gotten some run at the safety position so far. Overall, the addition of Callahan and Fangio to this defense should be a solid one, as the Broncos look to contain the likes of Philip Rivers, Patrick Mahomes, and Derek Carr twice a season.
