DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 30, 2019
High Salary Guards
Players costing over $8,333
Stephen Curry (at TOR – $11,400): Needs 48.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 78.75 fantasy points against Portland. Without Durant, you know Curry is once again going to be allowed to be Steph Curry. The only issue is that Toronto is not Portland. Their defense is much better and they can even put Kawhi on Curry if they really want. The shots and opportunities are always going to be there for him. But the Raptors defense is going to be a big test for the Warriors as they haven’t seen a defense like this all postseason. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyle Lowry (vs GS – $7,800): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Lowry has been consistent in these playoffs. And I think he’ll keep it up against the Warriors. He averaged 50.4 fantasy points in the two games against the Warriors in the regular season. Don’t put too much stock into those numbers as injuries were about of both games and they were prior to the Marc Gasol trade. But you can count on Lowry. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Klay Thompson (at TOR – $8,400): Needs 36.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against Portland. Klay will continue to get the minutes and opportunities with Durant out of the lineup but he can be too dependent on his scoring. And as mentioned above, this defense is much tougher than the Blazers defense. Danny Green is streaky, but his defense remains tough. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
