DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 30, 2019
High Value Guards
Players costing under $8,333
Fred VanVleet (vs GS – $5,400): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19 fantasy points against Milwaukee. VanVleet will be counted on to carry over his ECF performance into the Finals. He’s been more bad than good this season so there should be a reason for concern. But he’s at a decent enough salary and will get the minutes and opportunities, at least early. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Shaun Livingston (at TOR – $2,400): Needs 10.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.75 fantasy points against Portland. Livingston will continue to get minutes in Durant’s absence and he’s at a good enough salary to where he’s not going to hurt you. He’ll chip in with a couple of points and find numbers in other areas if you’re looking for a low-cost option with a high-cost captain. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
Danny Green (vs GS – $3,200): Needs 14 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 8 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Green was unplayable by the time the Milwaukee series ended. But he’s going to get a fresh look against the Warriors and they will certainly need his defense. Of course, he’ll need to hit shots if he wants to remain on the floor. He averaged 29.6 fantasy points in two regular season games against the Warriors if you’re looking for some confidence. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
