High Value Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $8,333

Andre Iguodala (at TOR – $6,600): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 13.25 fantasy points against Portland. Iguodala is expected to play but you never know the day of a game. Assuming he plays, the Warriors will need him to be great. This salary feels a tad too high given how he looked in the final few games against the Blazers. I don’t dislike him because he’ll get the minutes and we know he can do a bit of everything. But I’m cautious. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Kevon Looney (at TOR – $4,800): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Portland. Looney has been good more often than not with Durant out of the lineup. And he will continue to get the minutes because of his rebounding and familiarity with the Warriors schemes. He’s a solid low-cost captain pick if you want to go that route. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Marc Gasol (vs GS – $6,000): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Gasol started to slip in the final two games against the Bucks and that’s a little concerning. He was good against the Warriors this season although that was when he was with the Grizzlies and utilized a bit more. He’s a decent option who could deliver in a big way. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
