FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – May 30, 2019
High Salary Guards
Players costing over $12,000
Steph Curry (at TOR – $15,500): Needs 58.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 70.1 fantasy points against Portland. Steph is Steph once again with Durant. That’s good news. The bad news is that the Raptors defense is nothing like the Portland defense. He’ll be dealing with the toughest defense he’s seen all playoffs and won’t have Durant to take some pressure off him. That’s what worries. Me. But if you take him, he should be your STAR at the very least. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyle Lowry (vs GS – $12,000): Needs 45.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Lowry has been consistent during the playoffs but no one wants to talk about it. I’m not worried about him underperforming at this point. It might happen. Because sports are unpredictable. But overall I trust Lowry right now and he was great against the Warriors in the regular season, though I wouldn’t put much stock into those 2 games. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Klay Thompson (at TOR – $12,500): Needs 48 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.2 fantasy points against Portland. Klay is obviously going to get his minutes and opportunities in this game. But much like with Curry, he’ll be seeing the best defense he’s seen all playoffs. Danny Green is still a pest on defense, though he needs some offense to stay on the floor. I’m going going to doubt Klay and he makes for a good PRO or STAR. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
