31. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Yes, the potential that Kyler Murray has may be through the roof. But as is the case with Haskins, ranking him higher than more proven NFL quarterbacks without throwing a single pass isn’t fair.

At the same time, the Arizona Cardinals are in great position for the team ranked almost dead last in the power rankings. Even though they selected a signal caller in the first round of back-to-back drafts.

Josh Rosen didn’t work out and he was expendable when the Cardinals hired Kliff Kingsbury to be the new head coach. Kingsbury’s pursuit of Murray dates back further than just these past months, as he tried to recruit the two-sport star out of high school.

Now Kingsbury has his guy. Murray won the Heisman and was named the 2018 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year last season. He threw for 4,361 yards with 42 touchdowns, as well as over 1,000 yards rushing and 12 scores on the ground, during his junior season.

Murray’s size has been a major topic of discussion and speculation. Listed at 5’10” and 207 pounds, seeing and making throws over much taller offensive linemen has been the major cause for concern.

Regardless, Murray’s rank will rise as he proves he can play in the NFL. Until then, rank 31 is where he will be.
