Everything else

Xia Brookside gets interviewed backstage about her terrible luck of getting absolutely pulverized by someone twice her size the last two times she’s been in an NXT UK ring. Because it worked so well for her the last time, Brookside refers to both Jinny and Jazzy Gabert as bullies. Then Isla Daw pops in to say she thinks it’s a disgrace what keeps happening to Brookside and suggests they team up. That’s really more of personal business though, so they leave to discuss it off-camera. Would be hilarious if Radzy interviews Xia again next week and she’s just like, “Yeah nah, ideological differences, looks like I’ll be facing Jazzy Gabert alone then.”

A WWE.com exclusive video that’s also on YouTube (and now also also embedded above) reveals someone was closely watching this week’s main event. Yes, it’s the one Scottish superstar yet to wrestle in any of these Glasgow episodes, Kay Lee Ray. Like Nina Samuels, Ray has been racking up the dominant wins as of late. That paired with Toni Storm blatantly forgetting to mention her in that promo a month ago where Storm listed off all the talented women in NXT UK, makes her an ideal candidate to be the next No. 1 contender.

Joseph Conners, man who normally would never take a selfie video of himself, takes a selfie video of himself. He challenges the consensus that Ilja Dragunov is already the most fearsome and intense man in all of NXT UK, and then challenges Dragunov himself. Oh Joseph, this seems like a really bad idea for you.

Piper Niven is ready to fight, but the war of the words must continue while we wait for Rhea Ripley to no longer be injured. This time, Niven’s words are that she’s ready to fight Ripley whenever Ripley is ready. What words will Ripley choose to respond to these words? Keep watching NXT UK to find out!

Oh yeah, and the fatal four-way to determine the No. 1 contender to the WWE United Kingdom Championship is finally happening. Banks vs. Coffey vs. Mastiff vs. Devlin. Next week! Should be fun!

That about wraps it up for this NXT UK recap. Thoughts on this week’s episode? Will The Nina Samuels Show get picked up for a second season? Should Imperium fear the wrath of British Strong Style? Who do you like in the fatal four-way? Hit those comments down below and let us know!
