15. DE Joey Bosa, Los Angeles Chargers

There’s no denying the talent of a player who was the third overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. And when it was time to take the field that season on opening weekend, defensive end Joey Bosa was not available due to a hamstring injury. The former Ohio State Buckeye would miss his team’s first four games before making his debut against the Oakland Raiders. He would notch a pair of sacks in that game and when available, he’s been wreaking havoc on opposing quarterbacks ever since.

That year, Bosa would play in the Bolts’ final 12 outings and finished with 41 tackles and 10.5 quarterback traps – with six of those sacks coming in the club’s final five games. In 2017, the 6’5”, 280-pound defensive terror would start all 16 contests. There would be 70 stops, 12.5 QB traps and four forced fumbles as the one-time Ohio State Buckeye earned a Pro Bowl invitation.

But the injury bug would come back to bite this 24-year-old pro once again. He missed the first nine games of ’18 with a foot injury. However, he returned for the team’s final seven regular-season games and finished with 5.5 sacks. He notched a sack of Lamar Jackson in the AFC Wild Card Playoff win at Baltimore as well.

It adds up to an impressive 28.5 sacks in 35 regular-season games for the talented Bosa. Can he stay on the field in 2019?
