High Salary Forwards/Centers

Players costing over $12,000

Kawhi Leonard (vs GS – $16,000): Needs 60.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.1 fantasy points against Golden State. Kawhi wasn’t quite Kawhi in Game 1 but the Raptors didn’t need him to be quite on that level thanks to strong team play. And we know Kawhi can turn into Kawhi at any given moment. This feels like a game where he’ll need to takeover a bit more as the Warriors adjust to slow down Siakam. If you take him, he should be your MVP. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Draymond Green (at TOR – $14,500): Needs 56.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34 fantasy points against Toronto. Draymond vowed to be better in Game 2 and I expect him to be better in Game 2. He’s still not going to give you big numbers in a single category but he’ll do a better job of freeing guys on offense in order to boost his own scoring and assist numbers. Trust Draymond to bounce back with a better game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs GS – $11,500): Needs 44.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.1 fantasy points against Golden State. I had a good feeling about Siakam prior to Game 1 because the Warriors frontcourt without Durant is weak. And Siakam proved me right. The Warriors will adjust and do a better job at limiting him but he’s still a matchup problem as long as the Warriors are rolling out Looney, McKinnie, and a hobbled Cousins. He should still be a PRO or STAR pick. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
