4. Jesse Winker, Cincinnati Reds

Jesse Winker has shown some power this year, with a career-high 10 home runs so far, and he can play all three outfield spots. He’s not particularly good defensively anywhere, but simply having Major League experience in center field and being able to stand out there without being a detriment might be enough to garner some interest from the Phillies as they try to find someone in McCutchen’s absence.

Winker is a high-contact-rate hitter, though he doesn’t hit lefties at all (.175 for his career) and regularly sits against them. That platoon split is not necessarily ideal, since Adam Haseley is also a left-handed hitter, but with a thin set of options to trade for Winker has to be on the radar.

The Reds seem ripe for a reversal of early-season fortunes, with the fourth-best run differential in the National League not befitting their 27-32 mark entering Tuesday. But they have a lot of teams to climb over, underlying promise aside, and they may become an easy seller in the coming weeks. Winker is hardly untouchable in any scenario, and the Phillies can probably offer a mid-tier prospect to get him.
