Paul Pogba

Acquired by Manchester United for 105 million euros from Juventus, Paul Pogba’s transfer price has only increased in today’s climate. Furthermore, Pogba has shown that he has the class to warrant an astronomical fee, and fans can only wonder what he’d be capable of as a centerpiece signing for a new-look Real side.

While United struggled in 2018-2019 and Pogba drew the unfair ire of Jose Mourinho, Pogba was clearly the Red Devils top star. Pogba’s range of passing makes him one of the world’s most dangerous players, and he is capable of anchoring any midfield with his awareness and strength. A two-way player who is at his best in the attack, Pogba’s enviable technical ability also makes him a real goal-scoring threat and a handful for any defense.

Pogba would be quite the upgrade for Real’s midfield, and he seems to be high on manager Zinedine Zidane’s list. There’s no doubt that Pogba would come at an incredibly high price, as he’d likely be the most expensive player Real could realistically purchase this summer (Neymar and Kylian Mbappe seem highly unlikely to leave PSG).

That said, he’d be worth the money. Even on a slumping United side, Pogba had 13 goals and 9 assists. Pogba also, per WhoScored.com, led United in dribbles completed, which is outstanding for a center midfielder. He kept everything ticking with his passing, and the 26-year-old proved why he is one of the world’s most well-rounded stars.
