13. Ryan Suzuki

DOB: May 28, 2001 (age 18)
Position: C
Shoots: L
Team: Barrie Colts — OHL
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 172 pounds

This might be a tad of an over-ranking of Ryan Suzuki, but it has been brought about in part because of the lack of surety surrounding where the aforementioned Knight and Kaliyev will fall on June 21. The center has been on the radar of many for quite some time — primarily due to the remarkably astute nature of his vision, coupled with his ability to boast on-ice smarts when placed in both advantageous and problematized positions.

Suzuki is undoubtedly one of the most intelligent prospects available, but the thought of clubs passing on him due to his size is not outside the realm of possibility. Whatever the case, watch for the 18-year-old’s fantastic hockey sense to occupy headlines at the professional level.
