11. Kirby Dach

DOB: Jan. 21, 2001 (age 18)
Position: C
Shoots: R
Team: Saskatoon Blades — WHL
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 198 pounds

Teams looking to add a forward who can lock in tough minutes will surely have Kirby Dach at the focal point of their radars. A right-shot center who has the ability to be deployed in a vast array of scenarios, Dach boasts a high-end IQ, in that he manages to usher forth ridiculous passes at key moments in games.

He can lead special teams units through important matchups — particularly significant, as the NHL continues to become more of a power play league — but consistency continues to serve as a valid point of critique. Dach tended to play outstanding in fairly streaky lapses throughout the past campaign.

Whatever the case, Dach is too unique of a player to be passed up, so expect him to develop into becoming one of the sport’s top centers.
