1. Can QB Carson Wentz remain healthy throughout 2019?
There seems to be a thought that the second overall pick in 2016 has a bit of an issue. Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Carson Wentz started all 16 games his rookie season and the first 13 during the team’s Super Bowl title campaign one year later. Then there was the knee injury in Week 14 against the Rams at Los Angeles. He was obviously absent for the stretch run and the team’s three-game playoff sweep.
This past season, the Birds opened defense of their title with Nick Foles at the helm. The club split their first two games and re-enter Wentz. He would throw for 3,074 yards and 21 scores but also committed 13 turnovers and at times did not look overly comfortable. Did he return to the field too soon? In any case, the three-year pro would miss the final three games and the postseason with a back injury – something he’s still on the mend from. So is the injury prone label valid?
“I get it. I get it,” said Wentz earlier this week (via Kevin Patra of NFL.com). “I’m looking forward to putting those (questions) behind me. I understand it’s a part of this league, it’s a physical league and things happen. But it’s one of those things that’s out of my control, and I look forward to putting that behind me.”

Wentz recently inked a lucrative four-year contract extension that will keep him in the City of Brotherly Love until 2024. Will he be 100 percent healthy by September and recapture that Pro Bowl form of ’17?
