4. Colorado Avalanche (from Ottawa Senators) — Dylan Cozens

DOB: Feb. 9, 2001 (age 18)
Position: C
Shoots: R
Team: Lethbridge Hurricanes — WHL
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 185 pounds

Dylan Cozens of the Lethbridge Hurricanes would definitely fill a need on the Colorado Avalanche for greater depth up front. With Nathan MacKinnon, Tyson Jost and veteran Carl Soderberg currently serving as the organization’s top centers, few would trouble the notion that adding the 18-year-old has the potential to bolster the team’s offensive presence, as the consistently versatile forward continues to be one of the most talked about prospects available.

Nevertheless, debate persists. Do not be surprised if GM Joe Sakic opts to land Byram, as the thought of adding the top defender of the class at hand to a back end piloted by young studs in Samuel Girard and Cale Makar would be an intriguing option to consider.
