The Pac-12 has been terrible for some time now and that’s not exactly an exaggeration either. However, the saving grace of Pac-12 football has watched the North Division and especially Chris Petersen keep some respect within the conference because of the job he’s done with Washington.

The arms race to dethrone Washington has been underway, but the Huskies have maintained their spot. If they want to keep that spot, nabbing a target from other programs is a big step toward doing that.

In this case, it would be a massive target. Johnny Wilson is one of the top receiving recruits available and he’s massive.

At 6’6″ and 220 pounds, Wilson is about as big at the wide receiver spot as it gets. He’s not going to get outmatched by smaller cornerbacks and he’s going to be a great target to go up and get the football.

Pac-12 North Rival Oregon and other programs in the Pac-12 and across the country are after the Calabasas product. This would be a huge land for Washington.

Even more impressive is his 4.59 40-yard dash time given his size. Wherever he lands, he’s going to be a monster. The Huskies are hoping he chooses Seattle.
