4. Khris Middleton

Middleton is an unrestricted free agent, and so it would be shocking if the Milwaukee Bucks don’t offer him a maximum deal. But they are a small market team. That might mean they choose to not pay the luxury tax, but that would be such a dumb move. They would make so much more money if they are actually a contender during Giannis Antetokounmpo’s prime, and that could last for another five years, at least.

If the “Greek Freak” develops a jump shot, then the sky is the limit.

The Bucks got bounced by the Toronto Raptors this season, but Giannis learned some valuable lessons in the process. They are set up quite nicely to own the Eastern Conference for many years to come, especially if Leonard goes West.

Middleton is a solid two-way player. He didn’t completely show up in the playoffs, but if you are the Bucks then you have to pay this man. Don’t let him leave. He averaged 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game last season, and his field goal percentage is efficient.

He’s also a decent rebounder and defender. The Bucks deserve to be good. It’s just a matter of whether or not they’re willing to pay for that right. This is the team that drafted Kareem Abdul-Jabbar after all, and so maybe they’ll reclaim what’s theirs this offseason. It’s pretty cool when there’s a superstar in the Midwest. Just ask the Chicago Bulls or Cleveland Cavaliers.
