NEW YORK, NY – JUNE 30: Rafael Devers #11 of the Boston Red Sox celebrates his first inning grand slam home run against the New York Yankees with teammates J.D. Martinez #28 (L), Mitch Moreland #18 and Xander Bogaerts #2 (R) at Yankee Stadium on June 30, 2018 in the Bronx borough of New York City. (Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images) /

DraftKings MLB Stack Options:

New York Yankees vs. Jason Vargas:

We really can’t deny that Vargas has pitched well lately. That’s all the more reason to go after him here. The Yankees are hitting .276 with five homers and 18 runs in only 98 at bats against Vargas. Edwin has two of those homers. Didi Gregorius, Brett Gardner, and Aaron Hicks have the others. DJ LeMahieu is worth a look leading off, and I’m loving Judge at the price with his power potential.

Boston Red Sox vs. Jacob Waguespack:

Waguespack was decent in his debut against the Rays in May, but coming off the IL to start against the Red Sox is something different. Rafael Devers is hitting literally everything right now. Michael Chavis, Mookie, and J.D. Martinez look really good for the price. You can either go the cheap route with Jackie Bradley or Brock Holt or pay up for Xander. I don’t think there’s a bad option here.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Jhoulys Chacin:

The Reds have hung seven runs on Chacin in his two starts against him this year, and most of them are still pretty cheap. Overall, the Reds are hitting .283 with six homers and 17 runs in 120 at bats. Both Votto and Puig have slugged two homers off of him and are hitting well over .300. Suarez and Jose Peraza have the other homers. Derek Dietrich is 4-9 with every kind of hit but a homer. That could come tonight.

Atlanta Braves vs. Nick Pivetta:

Pivetta has given up four homers in just 11.1 innings against the Braves this year and five overall. McCann, Josh Donaldson, Freeman, Dansby Swanson, and Markakis have the homers. Austin Riley and Ronald Acuna have both hit well enough to consider here as well. The Braves have smacked Pivetta this year and should continue to do so in Hotlanta.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Bryse Wilson:

Wilson has given up ten runs (eight earned) in just 8.2 innings this year. Four of those were to the Phillies back in March. Maikel Franco hit the homer. Cesar Hernandez and Realmuto both drove in runs. Bryce Harper is starting to wake up. Segura and Rhys Hoskins are both worth a look for me as well, but I prefer the left handed Harper and Jay Bruce in this park.

Chicago White Sox vs. Tyler Alexander:

The Tigers and White Sox could throw a whole wrench in this and alter the starters after last night’s rainout. If Alexander still pitches this game, I’m stacking White Sox righties. Eloy, Yoan Moncada, and Jose Abreu are elite plays. I’m a big fan of James McCann against his former team. Beyond that, we can go cheap with Jon Jay since he is hitting lefties this year so far.

Houston Astros vs. Peter Lambert:

The rookie has made three starts at Coors Field, and though he hasn’t lost, he still has a 9.95 ERA and 1.82 WHIP with six homers allowed in 12.2 innings. Ouch! Jose Altuve is a fantastic play for the price. Bregman and Springer are worth the price. Yordan Alvarez probably is as well, but you would have to take a big risk on a pitcher or two to make that happen. Moving down to Reddick or Yuli Gurriel may be a better idea.

Cleveland Indians vs. Danny Duffy:

Duffy is struggling this year anyway, and Cleveland is hitting .324 with five homers and 19 runs in 105 at bats against him. Oh, and this is hitting weather in KC. Lindor has two of the homers and five of the RBI. Jose Ramirez and Jason Kipnis have each homered and driven in five. Carlos Santana has a homer and four RBI. Those are the core four you want. Jordan Luplow will be my fifth since he batters lefties like Northeastern cod.

Seattle Mariners vs. Adam Wainwright:

Waino has a 6.56 ERA in seven road starts this year, and has to face a DH in Seattle. I want all the lefties here: Vogelbach, Omar Narvaez, Kyle Seager, Dee Gordon, Mallex Smith, and J.P. Crawford. Lefties are hitting a robust .320 on Wainwright this year with seven homers in 125 at bats. I’m tempted to play on FantasyDraft just so I can use all six and not have to leave one out.
