DraftKings MLB one-off plays:

Here’s where I’m at on Domingo German: If you play him, you deserve to lose. No, I’m not just being mean. German has a 4.99 ERA in seven road starts, was rocked by the Mets last year, and threw just 65 pitches in his last rehab start. You can’t pay five figures for that. I’m not really going after him either though. Hechavarria, J.D. Davis, and the Toddfather all homered off of him last year. However, I think I only really want Pete Alonso here. Maybe Davis again since he’s cheap.

Avi Garcia is super cheap here. So is Willy Adames. The Rays offense hasn’t been great lately, but they should get at least three innings against the Orioles bullpen. While it’s usually silly to play guys for only one or two at bats, most of them are plenty cheap enough to consider this approach.

I still need a Tigers homer by the end of the week, and I have no idea where to find it. Nick Castellanos is the best bet no matter who is on the mound, but if Detwiler starts, I’ll push Dixon and Goodrum out there sparingly as well.

I really do think that Clevinger gets back on track tonight. Alex Gordon has the only homer off of him, and is probably the only guy I would take a shot at him with besides Jorge Soler, who is 6-9 with three doubles.

Choo is mired in quite a slump, but he picked up the only run against Griffin Canning the first time around with a solo homer. If you want to stack just in case, add in the lefties. Gallo, Odor, Mazara, and Ronald Guzman to save some money.

While I expect a strong outing from Shaun Anderson, I don’t think he’s pitching a shutout. Franimal and Manny Machado are still strong one offs when looking for homers.

Christian Walker has the homer against Walker Buehler. Only Ildemaro Vargas is hitting better than .250 against Buehler besides Christian. If you must throw a dart at him, I would probably limit it to one of these two.
