Fantasy Football – The Top 5 Tight Ends To Watch For (#3)

3. Zach Ertz (Philadelphia Eagles)

So the next three tight ends that I discuss are the most obvious choices for the top three that need to be watched for once again. They terrorize defenses almost more than some of the wide receivers in the NFL and they also make it look extremely easy. At number we have Zach Ertz, a monster from Philly who catches almost whatever is thrown his way and also improves his game every year. The Eagles are still a team that finds a way to compete for a playoff spot and this man right here is a huge reason why.

Zach Ertz is known to dominate in the tight end position but he truly dominated last year which was his career best so far. He has spent his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles and finally broke a thousand receiving yards. He put up 1,163 receiving yards while finding the end-zone 8 times. He caught 74% of what was thrown at him which was his career best and raise his career average to 69%. Ertz averaged 73 receiving yards and 7 receptions per game while averaging 10 yards per catch.

The Philadelphia Eagles have had a mixture of additions and departures during this NFL off-season. They lost their key back-up Quarterback, Nick Foles, to free agency while bringing back the cities “old” favorite receiver, DeSean Jackson. Jordan Howard will be manning the back field while the city of Philly hopes that their franchise quarter-back, Carson Wentz, can stay healthy and play the entire season. This Eagles offense should still be able to get the job done and sneak in to the playoffs this season.
