FanDuel MLB: Summary and Example Lineup for the 4th of July 2019

The Dodgers Ryu is clearly the best pitcher of this slate. However, that doesn’t mean he’s the best FanDuel MLB option at the position. The Halos’ starting RHP Griffin Canning is doing well this season, and has a higher K-rate than most Thursday night.

Canning gives us the best odds of getting over 30 FanDuel MLB points, even if he doesn’t quite reach Ryu’s point total, while also holding about as much risk as Ryu. And, we’re getting nearly $3K in case back, to load up on some great bats for this slate.

While Eflin has been a decent starting hurler for the Phils this season, he’s giving up a solid amount of home runs, too, and has seriously struggled with earned runs in his last two starts. That’s a juicy situation for us. We can afford many of the top bats in the Braves lineup, in a hitter-friendly park.

Speaking of ballparks, the Dome covers the game in Toronto, making weather a non-issue. That’s fortunately, because we love the Blue Jays offense against a struggling Rick Porcello. And, the Jays bats are cheap tonight, making our Canning, Braves, and Blue Jays combination simple.

With that summary in mind, here’s a look at sample lineups for the Main FanDuel MLB slate for Thursday, July 4th:
