Slate Overview: Starting out today, I really thought I could make a Verlander/deGrom build work which led me to the Cardinals as a GPP stack but digging in more, I actually started to like the Pomeranz side of that game a bit more in San Francisco which opened up some big time bats that I simply could not afford with JV in the mix.
The Mets hitters against a struggling Velazquez have the pop to really make a splash in GPP’s and by utilizing some of the cheaper hitters like Cano or even Nido/Rosaro at the bottom of the line–up in a wrap around stack will give the ability to pay up for an SP1 and still get some Red Sox sluggers.
