Fantasy Football Question 4-Submitted by Austin Joyner: Who do you think is the top handcuff in fantasy this year?

Answer: Most people are going to say players like Darrell Henderson, Royce Freeman, Kareem Hunt, so I’m going to go a different route here. All 3 of those handcuffs listed need to be drafted within the first 8 rounds of your drafts. wouldn’t you rather draft starters during those rounds and grab a handcuff later on? My favorite handcuff target in 2019 is Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds. He’s the obvious handcuff to David Johnson with other running back’s on the team being TJ Logan and DJ Foster.

Now I love David Johnson the player, but if he gets hurt, Edmonds is a fantasy gold mine! When Johnson is healthy, no other running back on this roster will have any fantasy relevance. Going back to Johnson’s health, it’s concerning to say the least. Johnson has only started 38 out of the possible 64 games. With that being said, Edmonds could start some games in what should be a rather explosive Kliff Kingsbury led offense. The positive thing about Edmonds is that you can draft him in the very last round of your drafts, so you have no equity involved in a handcuff with immense upside.
