Everton Soares

Gremio winger Everton Soares is still just 23 years old and has entered the radar of clubs like Bayern Munich after being arguably the best player at this year’s Copa America.

Everton helped lead Brazil to a cup triumph by scoring three goals and assisting once during the competition, taking defenders on relentlessly.

He combined with the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino to reignite Brazil’s attack, and Everton looks like a crucial player for Brazil for years to come.

Everton is more of a sudden candidate for Bayern, and it’s unclear how much he would cost. Transfermarkt pegs his value at around 20 million euros, but he could cost almost double that amount after a strong tournament for his country.

His value will be contingent on the number of teams interested, and, as with Ziyech, it seems like Arsenal have interest. PSG also seem to be in the early running, and they would pose a more potent threat to Bayern.

As a whole, Everton projects as more of a safety option for Bayern if they are unable to sign Sane, choose to pass on Dembele, or run into issues with signing another backup option like Ziyech.

It’s not easy to sign away a top young winger at an affordable price, so Everton could end up being a strong option. How he projects in the Bundesliga would be entirely up in the air, but he seems to have the skills and shooting accuracy to be a key threat off the bench.
