Slate Overview: Normally I am a believer in paying up for pitching but I have to say, the K upside that exists with Robbie Ray and Danny Duffy on this slate with their price points being as low as they are – allows you to build a simply loaded roster.

You want a 6 man Yankee stack? STACK IT UP.

You want to play two of the best hitters in baseball as one-offs? Mike Trout and Christian Yelich come on down!

Heck, this sample lineup even has salary left over! OK it is $100 but still!

Fading Cole as the clear SP1 on this slate is certainly risky and let’s not pretend like Ray and Duffy are safe pivots, but pitching all season has been volatile and frankly it is rare to get the kind of K upside we are getting with Duffy/Ray as values on this slate, so I think we take advantage and load up on all the bats we want!
