Daily Fantasy Golf: FanDuel PGA – The 148th Open Championship – Sample Cash Lineup:

The line-up below is meant to be illustrative only to further back-up the logic laid out in previous slides. It is not an optimal line-up. It is in fact, just a “Sample Lineup.”

G – Adam Scott – $10,500
G – Hideki Matsuyama – $10,300
G – Henrik Stenson – $10,100
G – Matt Kuchar – $10,000
G – Webb Simpson – $9,400
G – Rafa Cabrera Bello – $9,300

Since we have the best golfers in the world in this field, my approach for cash games this week will be to go as balanced as possible. The sample lineup above leaves $400 in salary, and the only change I may make before lock is the final spot with RCB. I have enough left to put Matt Wallace or Graeme McDowell in there, but Cabrera Bello has just been red-hot on the European Tour as of late, and he is grading out as a better play for me at the moment.

McDowell seems like the chalk at $9,700, but even though he is a perfect fit and has the narrative fully intact, his back-to-back missed cuts have me questioning his current form. I’ll save G-Mac and Wallace for GPP play this week, as RCB’s consistency as of late has been outstanding.

That is all for this week’s Daily Fantasy Golf FanDuel Picks for the 148th Open Championship. If you have any questions, give me a follow on Twitter with the link at the top of the article and fire away.
