Daily Fantasy Baseball: Top Value Plays – Across the Industry!

Welcome to the most important, and final page of the article. On most days, certain value plays will line up well on two or three, or even all of the sites covered in this article.

From the looks of it, I have a piece of every player coming up here on at least two sites in my early lineups, so just because you did not see somebody yet on another site-specific slide from earlier, he could be coming up right now.

OF – Jordan Luplow – Cleveland Indians – ($3,800 DK, $2,700 FD, $7,700 Fantasy Draft)

Luplow has been lock and load chalk against left-handed pitching for a solid stretch here, as he is a consistent power threat, and is always a bit underpriced. I already mentioned he took Boyd deep last time the two met, and with what we are faced with as far as other value goes, this is not just a FanDuel only play like it normally is, Luplow looks plenty viable everywhere tonight.

More from DFS

Playing primarily in a platoon role and getting a majority of his starts versus lefties, Luplow has eight of his nine homers this season off of southpaws. He started on Tuesday against Ryan Carpenter in game two of this four-game series with the Tigers, and went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles.

SP – Kyle Gibson – Minnesota Twins – ($6,800 DK, $7,200 FD, $13,600 Fantasy Draft)

If you decide to spend up a bit more and work your way through your cash lineups with value bats, that might end up the best strategy when it is all said and done. However, we will need that SP2 on DK and Fantasy Draft for GPP’s to allow us to spend up on some sticks, and the very low price of Gibson here is what has my attention most.

Of course, there is a ton of risk here, as the Twins have come out of the break struggling a bit. They will host the Athletics who are red-hot, and the forecasted humid conditions could make it easy on these Oakland bats. However, Gibson is having a pretty solid season at 8-4 with a mediocre 4.03 ERA, and he has been a much better pitcher at home this season. In Minnesota, Gibson has pitched to the tune of 3.69 ERA, and just three of his 14 home runs allowed have come at Target Field.

With his salary down where it is, Gibson does not necessarily need to get more than 15 fantasy points on two pitcher sites and 35 or so on FanDuel to pay it off. I may use him as a pivot away from Bauer and Stephen Strasburg in tournaments on FanDuel to allow me to stack up some Twins or Brewers bats, and on DK and Fantasy Draft, pairing him with Bauer allows me to make a lineup I am very comfortable with. With limited cheap options today, I am leaning towards Gibson to get me where I need, and cool off these A’s bats.
