FanDuel MLB daily lineups July 18th: Early only & main slate

FanDuel MLB: Summary and Example Lineups for the Early Only and Main Slates on July 18th 2019
For the Main slate, we’re tempted to pick Nola or Sale, but considering the value we get from Caleb Smith, he’s a much better shot at 40 to 50 FanDuel MLB points. That value at pitcher, and a Marlins offensive stack allows us to focus on some of the Red Sox most expensive, and best, bats to load up on our Early Only play.
We’ll also throw in a cheap Royals bat with Starling in one of the outfield, or utility, positions.
For the Main slate, there is a long list of great starting pitcher options. Strasburg is a sneaky great play for all formats, so is Noah Syndergaard. I’m avoiding Boyd against the Indians, but Trevor Bauer is the clear favorite. He has the best odds and highest ceiling of the slate.
With cheap plays from hot bats like Garneau, Ahmed, and Canha, stacking the Indians and Astros is affordable. That’s fortunately, because the hot Astros bats face a very hit-able Matt Harvey and the Indians have several hot bats as well.
With that summary in mind, here’s a look at sample lineups for the Early Only and Main FanDuel MLB slates for Thursday, July 19th:
