FanDuel MLB – Top Shortstops

Top Play: Francisco Lindor | CLE | $4,100

I haven’t touched on the Indians yet which shows you how many elite offenses there are tonight, but this team is red hot and steps into another great matchup yet again against Mike Montgomery and the Royals.

Montgomery has allowed a 0.351 wOBA and 0.232 ISO to righties this season while only striking out 17.1%. That gets even worse when you factor in his 13.4% walk rate against RHH.

Lindor, on the other hand, has had more success against righties than lefties this season but is still posting a 0.329 wOBA and only striking out at a 12.5% clip while walking 11.6% of the time against lefties. He’s also in good form after homering on Wednesday.

Value Play: Andrelton Simmons | LAA | $2,900

Opportunity cost feels rather high at the SS position tonight, so I will try to prioritize one of the studs, but Simmons makes for a viable value if you want to dip this low.

Mike Leake has been a reverse splits pitcher this season, allowing a 0.350 wOBA to righties and Simmons has produced with the platoon advantage, posting a 0.337 wOBA and 0.200 ISO this season against lefties.
