Fantasy Football Rankings: RB Strength Of Schedule

29. Houston Texans– entering 2019, it feels like Lamar Miller has become irrelevant in the eyes of the fantasy community. The current RB29 according to ADP, has him going in the 7th round. I know that we have some people who love D’onta Foreman out there but regardless, we can’t ignore this tough schedule in 2019. In just the month of September alone, they get the Saints, Jaguars, Chargers, and the Panthers. Factor in the fact that the Texans have one of the worst OL’s in football, I’m not drafting either of these guys.

30. Tampa Bay BuccaneersRonald Jones and Peyton Barber are in a similar situation that the Texans backfield is in. You have a team that has a terrible OL and on top of that, you have one of the hardest schedules in the league. The only easy match up for the Buccaneers in 2019 when it comes to run defenses, is week 3 against the New York Giants. With that being said, I can’t predict a breakout season for Ronald Jones, but I’m still not opposed of drafting him, given the fact that you don’t have to have high draft equity in him.

31. Atlanta Falcons– As a fellow Devonta Freeman truther, I’m not even bothered by having the 2nd hardest schedule for the RB position. Reasons include that this is the best OL that Devonta Freeman has ever had. Honestly, this could be the 2nd best OL in the NFC besides the Cowboys. The schedule is scary for sure, as he gets matchups against the Vikings, Eagles, Colts, Texans, Rams, Seahawks, Saints, Panthers, and the Jaguars. Overall, I think if healthy, he gets a big workload because I don’t think Ito Smith can handle the workload that Tevin Coleman use to handle for the Falcons.

32. Kansas City Chiefs– This one caught me off guard, I’m not going to lie. After seeing the QB SOS ranking the Chiefs at 32, I was expecting better for Damian Williams, but I’m mistaken. This schedule includes the Chargers and Broncos twice, as well as the Jaguars, Ravens, Colts, Texans, Packers, Vikings. The scariest thing is they play at Chicago in the fantasy championship vs the Bears in week 16. Damian Williams is currently being drafted as a top-12 RB, having him being drafted in the 2nd round and after seeing this, he’s no longer on my draft radar. With a schedule like that, someone else can have him that early.
