Fantasy Football Rankings: RB Strength Of Schedule

10. Miami Dolphins– Let me start off by saying I’m not a fan of Kenyan Drake. The fantasy community hypes this guy up every single season and he continues to disappoint. Last year in 2018, was his chance after receiving the 6th easiest SOS. Ultimately, he couldn’t handle the workload and ended up backing up Frank Gore by the end of the season. Honestly, besides the easy AFC East opponents, this schedule isn’t all that easy. In 3 of the first 4 weeks, the Dolphins matchup against the Ravens, Cowboys, and Chargers. That’s tough for any RB. Where Drake is going in drafts right now, I’d rather take Michel, White, and Cohen in that range instead.

11. Detroit Lions– The fantasy community is already in love with Kerryon Johnson this year, and seeing the 11th ranked SOS will make them feel even better. Johnson does have 4 relatively easy matchups against the Giants, Raiders, Redskins, and Buccaneers. On the other hand, his first three weeks are rather tough, facing off against the Cardinals, Chargers, and the Eagles. Factor in the committee of CJ Anderson and Theo Riddick, 11th SOS or not, you won’t see Kerryon Johnson on any of my teams in 2019.

12. Chicago Bears– Rookie David Montgomery will now fill the void with Jordan Howard on the Eagles now. In addition to Montgomery, receiving back Tarik Cohen will also be a big part of the offense. As far as the schedule, the easy matchups that I see are the Redskins, Raiders, Lions twice, and the Chiefs. Tough matchups include the Packers and Vikings twice a year, Broncos, Chargers, and Saints. From a fantasy standpoint, it’s tough to envision me to draft either of these guys this year. The reason is that it’s gonna be week-to-week question marks on which RB is going to be the main factor entering game-day.
