Fantasy Football Rankings: RB Strength Of Schedule

16. Tennessee Titans– This is where the SOS is crucial. Last season the Titans had the 5th ranked SOS. It makes sense because Derrick Henry‘s big games came against the likes of the Jets, Giants, Redskins, and Colts. Entering 2019, The Titans RB SOS drops 11 spots and it makes you question if Henry is trustworthy in 2019 since his schedule is harder. Last year he struggled against teams like the Texans, Bills, Ravens, and the Cowboys. Being in the AFC South, he gets the Jaguars, Texans, and Colts 6 games a year so that’s never good. On top of that, the Titans play against tough defenses like the Broncos, Chargers, and vs the Saints in week 16. Factoring in all of that, I’m going to let someone else draft Henry in 2019.

17. Cincinnati Bengals- If I’m being honest, Joe  Mixon is one of my favorite backs in the league at the moment. I was buying/acquiring him everywhere I could last offseason, I believed he was going to be a stud and he showed out last year. He had the 19th ranked SOS last year, so I’m not worried that he’s ranked 17 this year. We all know what matchups matter the most and it’s the fantasy playoffs! Mixon gets a home game vs the Patriots in week 15, and in week 16 the Bengals travel to Miami to play the Dolphins. Other easy matchups include the Bills, Raiders, Steelers, and the Jets. He should be a low-end RB1 this year.

18. Los Angeles Rams– It seems all offseason, no one knows what to think when it comes to Todd Gurley. It has gotten so out of hand, that the 2018 RB1 is currently being drafted as the RB11 overall, going in the middle of the 2nd round in most drafts. I’m a Gurley believer in 2019. He had the 32nd ranked SOS last year which of course was the hardest in the league. So he had the hardest schedule, finished as the RB1 overall, and were going to let a 2018 injury make him drop this far in fantasy? As far as this year’s schedule, I’m not seeing much that stands out in terms of stretches, due to the fact that it’s a pretty balanced schedule. Sorry, Darrell Henderson truthers, no love over here for you.
