Fantasy Football Mailbag- Monday, July 22nd

Question 4: Submitted by Patrick Duggan- I’m in a keeper league and have no idea who to keep out of Juju Smith-Schuster, Le’veon Bell, and James Conner. Who would you keep and why?

Answer– This one is relatively easy for me. Despite his ADP being the lowest out of the 3, I’m going Juju Smith-Schuster in a keeper league and it’s not even close.

Age:

Smith Schuster- 22 years old

Bell- 27 years old

Conner- 24 years old

So Smith-Schuster is 5 years younger than Bell and 2 years younger than Conner. On top of that, we all know that the NFL lifespan for an RB is way shorter than the life span for a WR. That means that 10-12 years from now, Smith-Schuster will still be in the league, while Bell and Conner will be out of the league by then.

From what we’ve seen from Smith-Schuster in his first 2 years in the league, he is going to dominate for years to come. The targets, yards, big plays, they will all be there, especially with Juju being the man in Pittsburgh after Antonio Brown left town.
