MLB DFS Pitching Plays

In this section, I will begin with my rankings for each pitcher. This will be on a 1-10 scale. I will lastly mention my “Gem of The Day” which is something I have been doing for a while now on my personal Twitter, where I decide a mid-low tier pitcher with the highest ceiling. I really like this slate for pitchers, I also think a lot of people will gravitate to Strasburg, but for slightly more Clevinger is just the better play. If making one lineup in cash games, he is the way to go, or you can even pitch my gem of the day in cash games.

Mike Clevinger – 9.5

Sonny Gray – 10

Eduardo Rodriguez – 8.5

Alec Mills – 8

Gem Of The Day – Sonny Gray

Sonny as mentioned in his write up, is a much different pitcher compared to last year, and he is rounding into elite form over the past month or so. Anyone with breaking pitches like his should always be in consideration at his price tag. People will look right past him yet again like they have been doing all year, but I am loving him today. The match-up is a little dangerous, going up against last years MVP, Yelich, and the likes of Moustakas, Thames, and young prospect Hiura. The reward is a massive ceiling equal to the studs on the slate, and it lets you get much better bats.
