Slate Overview: So as you can likely tell from this sample line-up, this is a GPP only build and one that comes with considerable risk and the opportunity cost of fading the top end arms.

However, considering the opponents, there is a clear recent path to support that Richards and Sampson could get you 20 and 15 fantasy points each and if they can combine for 35 fantasy points for less than it costs to roster Mike Clevinger or Gerrit Cole, you could get some serious leverage on the field and hope your bats can win you the slate.

Now, this could also end like Jesse Chavez night last week and you’ll be sending me hate tweets by 8PM EST but on a slate where the high-end arms seems like they will dictate the builds and ownership, I love the idea of going with the complete opposite approach and hoping Clevinger/Cole are not able to hit ceiling games here tonight.

Good luck all!
