2- Le’veon Bell:  Steelers ——–> Jets

ADP- 1.09, RB7

Breakdown: After being a fantasy football monster for the last 6 years with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Bell signed a 4-year, $52 million dollar deal with the New York Jets. Bell is someone who takes a downgrade when signing with a new team this offseason for multiple reasons.

Starting it off, he’s going from one of the best offensive lines on the Steelers, to one of the worst offensive lines on the Jets. That will not bode well, as Bell is a “patient runner”. He won’t have time to be patient when he’s running for his life, no thanks to the Jets OL.

Going from future HOF QB Ben Roethlisberger to 2nd year QB Sam Darnold isn’t a plus either. Head coach Adam Gase has always expressed concern in “paying for RB’s” this summer in reference to Bell’s big contract he received. It’s never a good sign to see something that but to make matters worse, Gase is historically known for not revolving his offenses around the RB position.

Bell still has a chance to be fantasy relevant in 2019 due to a relatively large workload, but you won’t see him on any of my teams in 2019 because I’m not taking any gambles in round one.
