Fantasy Football : Faces In New Places Outlook
By Dylan Tice
Before we start this evaluation on Coleman, let me explain my bad intro. TECO is a energy company that resides in Tampa, Florida. TECO also happens to be Tevin Coleman’s nickname. There you have it!
Tevin Coleman- Falcons ——-> 49ers
ADP: 6.07, RB31
Breakdown: It was a bizarre signing when Tevin Coleman announced that he would reunite with Kyle Shanahan and signed with the 49ers during free agency.

Coleman has shown flash when given the ball. From the years 2016-2018, Coleman finished as a top-22 fantasy running back in all 3 seasons. last year with Devonta Freeman injured, Coleman did his thing as the starting RB for the Falcons. He finished as an RB2 or better in 8 games.
What makes me optimistic about drafting Coleman is that he went into an awful landing spot for his fantasy outlook. The 49ers just signed Jerick Mckinnon and PAID him big in the 2018 offseason. On top of that, they also have Matt Breida who looked really good last season.
With that being said, I don’t know how we can pinpoint which RB is going to have the best year in 2019, because they are all tremendous running backs. I will most likely be avoiding TECO in my drafts because round 6 seems too early with players like Tarik Cohen, Tyler Boyd, and Alshon Jeffery in that range.
