1.07 – Parris Campbell (WR – Indianapolis Colts)

Like Harry and Metcalf above, Parris Campbell is another receiver who has seen his dynasty stock rise due to his NFL landing spot. The main knock against Campbell coming out of Ohio State was his lack of experience playing the deep threat role. He is a burner who ran outs, jet sweeps or screens 45 percent of the time. Those routes accounted for 49.5 of his receptions.

Luckily for him in Indianapolis they already have T.Y. Hilton as their deep receiver, giving Campbell the ability to thrive on the routes he made his living on in college. He adds a much needed dimension to the Colts offense and will help open things up for both Hilton and running back Marlon Mack. Dynamic after the catch, Campbell ranked seventh in the nation with an amazing 8.9 yards after the catch.

Campbell appears set to drop right into three wide sets as a rookie. He is arguably already a better talent than Devin Funchess, and may quickly take over as the team’s number two target once he adjusts to NFL game speed. Like A.J. Brown, Campbell is one of the few receivers in this class who projects as having 100 reception upside once he matures as an NFL receiver.

Of course, playing with Andrew Luck helps Campbell here as he can function as a Golden Tate in his prime type of receiver, albeit with a little less physicality, but more explosive speed. Campbell currently projects as a mid-range WR2 with a WR3 for dynasty purposes. His upside is tantalizing in this offense, and if he can maintain his expected position on the depth chart he will become a PPR fantasy star.
