Daily Fantasy Baseball: Top Value Plays – Across the Industry!

Welcome to the most important, and final page of the article. On most days, certain value plays will line up well on two or three, or even all of the sites covered in this article.

From the looks of it, I have a piece of every player coming up here on at least two sites in my early lineups, so just because you did not see somebody yet on another site specific slide from earlier, he could be coming up right now.

2B – Brock Holt – Boston Red Sox – ($3,600 DK, $2,500 FD, $7,300 Fantasy Draft)

Who is ready for yet another Yankees versus Red Sox series on your TV’s all weekend? The Yankees will arrive at Fenway Park today after taking two-of-three from the Twins at Target Field, in a series in which 57 total runs were scored by both teams. This game has the highest implied run total on the slate currently at 11, and Brock Holt is one guy I will likely use to help me get some exposure to this one.

More from DFS

Holt is not a power threat with just one home run on the season, but he has been super consistent in his platoon utility role this season. He carries a .336 batting average in 128 at-bats, but he only has 10 extra-base hits total. He may it in the bottom third of the lineup with the expected return of Mitch Moreland, but this could be a good spot to target the Yankees, whose bullpen could be a little taxed after that grueling series in Minnesota.

SS – J.P. Crawford – Seattle Mariners – ($3,800 DK, $2,900 FD, $7,300 Fantasy Draft)

The Mariners bats have awakened once again, and once I am 100% certain who will be taking the mound for the Tigers tonight, I will know which way I want to attack. For a smallish six-game slate with little overall value, the Seattle bats may end up pretty popular tonight. There was an earlier report that lefty Daniel Norris would be on the bump for the Tigers, but from what I am seeing now, it looks like it will indeed be Drew VerHagen.

VerHagen was just recalled from AAA after a terrible stint early in the season, in which he allowed 10 earned runs in just six innings of work. Control was the main issue, however, as he also issued an unacceptable 10 walks in those 10 innings as well. As the M’s bats heat up, J.P. Crawford is coming into this match-up off a pretty impressive six-game stretch.

Crawford has not had any huge games, and like Holt, he probably will not get you a home run tonight, but he has eclipsed double-digit fantasy points on FanDuel in five of those last six. He has three doubles, has driven-in five runs, and also taken five walks in this span as well.
