FanDuel MLB: Top Hitting Stacks Main Slate

While waiting for the Angels and Orioles bats to start swinging later in the night, in Anaheim, last night, I noticed the Twins offense continues to be on a tear. Still in Chicago on Friday night, the Twins will face young Dylan Cease.

And, fortunately for those playing MLB DFS with tons of salary left over because they’re taking risky plays at pitcher, we can easily afford to load up on a Twins stack with Eddie Rosario ($4,100), Max Kepler ($3,600), Jorge Polanco ($3,500), and Nelson Cruz ($4,200).

If you want to throw one cheaper Twins option in there, maybe go with someone like Luis Arraez ($2,900), a hot-swinging lefty against the right-handed Cease. Arraez is an interesting option to throw in there, because it gives you more salary back to differentiate your lineup with sluggers.

Before we get there, though, consider another stack, but much cheaper. Yusei Kikuchi is a lefty starting in Seattle for the Mariners. The lefty is giving up nearly two home runs per nine innings, and is facing a dirt-cheap Tigers offense tonight.

If I go with a more expensive pitcher, I’ll likely need to use more Tigers in my offense. And they’re a good option. If I go with the cheaper play, like Gio, then I still have plenty of cash left over, especially if I snag a hot Tiger bat like Brandon Dixon ($2,900) with the Twins Arraez.

That puts me in a very good spot to snag slugger picks like DJ LeMahieu ($4,200) or Jose Altuve ($4,400). You don’t necessarily need to pick those two, but they’re each consistently piling up double-digit FanDuel MLB points. And if you have this much cash left over, I would recommend picking one of the several expensive ‘slam dunk’ options.
