Dunked by Claudia Gadelha

By Joe McDonagh

Another fun moment from Dana White’s career was when he participated in a fun attempt to see TUF coaches square off in something that isn’t MMA related. In this one, Claudia Gadelha had the chance to win herself and her team some money by dunking the boss in a dunk tank. White was terrified and admitted his fear of heights. This is a classic moment because not only does White show us on this episode that he himself can show his softer side while also confronting a fear, but he does it in front of the whole house of fighters.

Not only did Gadelha and the team win more money, but to see the boss man use himself as the victim of the situation was pretty awesome. White has always had a special connection with his fighters and this moment is one that everyone involved will never forget. Plus how fun is it to see your boss freak out a little bit?.

Melvin Guillard pranks Dana White

By Cynthia Vespia

The Ultimate Fighter started as an experimental series to garner attention for the UFC brand. Their efforts paid off as TUF is now regarded as being instrumental to the survival and expansion of the UFC by bringing mixed martial arts to mainstream audiences. As the series followed fighting hopefuls on a journey towards attaining UFC contract viewers were witness to some stand-out moments. Many of those moments involved UFC president Dana White having discussions with the fighters about their performance and mental toughness. Quite a few contenders fell by the wayside during the seasons, not through defeat in the Octagon, but by simply giving up and leaving which frustrated White. In the second season of TUF, Melvin Guillard decided to prank White by saying he no longer wanted to be a part of the show. The look on White’s face was priceless and Guillard waited just long enough before admitting to the joke that it made for one of better moments of the series.
