Fantasy Football Rankings: Top Five NFL DFS QB’s

Phillip Rivers – Possibly the most underrated and underappreciated QB in the league, Rivers seems to be getting better the older that he gets. One season he will finally get that Super Bowl ring that he has been yearning for so many years. So many seasons he has been cursed with bad luck, losing his top receivers, or half of the offensive line to injury. For a good part of the year, he had a pretty healthy offense, and Rivers did not disappoint.

With a 70.2 QBR, he passed for 4,104 yards, 32 TD’s, and 12 INT’s. Rivers had the third-highest DYAR at 1,321, and a 27.3% DVOA. You also have to like his receiving duo, with Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams on the outside. Don’t forget about Austin Ekeler who catches his fair share of passes, and is one of the best pass-catching running backs in the league.

Rivers has shown no signs of slowing down in recent years and is going to be one of the lower owned QB’s on a weekly basis. He was ranked far above some more common players such as Tom Brady, Rodgers, and Watson. This will be a great GPP play as the Chargers team is looking like a strong contender, as long as Allen can stay healthy.
